Chief Mark Sulborski leads a force of more than 66 certified police officers and administrative staffers keeping watch over in excess of 100 schools and auxiliary buildings. Sulborski is a 21-year veteran of law enforcement, with 14 of those in the Fulton schools agency. In Fulton, he’s held a variety of jobs including SWAT commander and departmental training officer. He has an extensive background in firearms and tactical training and has held the command position of the department's Tactical (SWAT) Team, where his efforts brought it from conception to full operational capability. Prior to Fulton County Schools, Chief Sulborski was an officer with the Roswell Police Department. He also holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering technology from what was formerly known as Southern Polytechnic State University, now a division of Kennesaw State University.
